Objection!
Hey, here's a crazy idea. How about we all just love the bands we want and live in fandom peace?
Rushers: yay!
Swifties: okay!
Selenators: sure!
Beliebers: sounds like fun!
Most Directioners: haha fuck you.
So I saw this at my school…

Someone wrote One Direction and Justin Bieber, in all caps, on the parking lot with chalk. I found the leftover chalk near the fence.
Naturally, I had to add Big Time Rush. :D

Sorry for the beyond-crappy quality. I took these pictures with my cellphone, then with my webcam, since my phone refuses to connect with my computer. And so, since both pictures were equally as bad, I uploaded them both!

Am I cool yet?

The person who submitted this obviously did not do their research.
One Direction also started out on a t.v. show, too, but I see you omitted that fact. Using that logic, I could say that One Direction are “just some guys from that British t.v. show”, couldn’t I?
But, that’s not the point. My point is, Big Time Rush are not “just some guys from a kid’s t.v. show”. They have gone on multiple tours, preformed tons of concerts, filmed a movie, AND released two albums. Yes, two albums.Meanwhile, One Direction has only released one album C:
Not only that, Big Time Rush also started making their music before One Direction.
“One Direction’s debut single, “What Makes You Beautiful”, was released in September 2011.Their debut album, Up All Night, followed in November 2011" (Wikipedia)
“Their debut single, “Big Time Rush”, was released on November 29, 2009.The band released its debut album, BTR in October 2010.A second studio album, Elevate, was released on November 21, 2011." (Wikipedia)

Big Time Rush released their first song 2 years before One Direction. And, by the time One Direction finished their first album, BTR had already released their second album.
If they only cared about their t.v. show, why would they bother releasing those albums? Why would they go on tours and preform concerts? It’s because Big Time Rush cares about their music. Their dedication to their music clearly shows that. So don’t you ever say otherwise.
